Frozen Star Kirsten Bell believes in snacking on carbs and following a good exercise regime

The Good Place’ star Kirsten Bell trusts her CBD infused protein shake to give her the necessary nutrients. She also opened up about how CBD oil helps her deal with anxiety.

What do expect from a famous TV and Hollywood personality to have for her diet? Yes, we all assume that these celebrities work on a strict regime to keep their mind and body fit. But, Kirsten Bell is a tad different from the rest. She believes in the power of carbohydrates which enables her to keep her mind invigorated. 

Kirsten Bell has been credited with her incredible performances in A Good place and Frozen. She believes that her work requires her mind to be sharp always. Her work as an actress is physically and mentally very demanding. On any given day she as to memorize at least 11 pages of dialogues which can be taxing on the mind. She is an interview very clearly said that carbohydrates help her to get the dialogues to her head rather than eating greens and chicken. 

We all know that carbohydrates give us the required source of energy for the body. It gets converted into glucose which provides the necessary energy to the brain. This is primarily the reason why dieticians have come up with carb-focussed diets like Ketogenic diets that do not involve a lot of calories but also produce ample energy for the body. 

Kirsten Bell is a vegetarian and also runs on a strict regime. She is a lot into proteins and veggies and also loves having her share of protein shakes which are plant-based like hemp shake. She loves having salads for lunch and sticks to chickpea pasta for dinner. Her food regime might sound that she has complicated ingredients on her plate, but the family still shops from the local grocers for their everyday needs.

Kirsten Bell has resorted to a mindful diet rather than sticking to some ingredients. She believes that if one person knows what to eat, and does not over-indulge; it implies that the person can surely have a healthy mind, body, and soul. The conscious choices one makes 

One unique item out of this is the hemp shake which is extracted from the hemp plant of Indian origin. The hemp plant is credited with the formation of CBD also which has caught on the popularity charts of several industries. It is an anti-inflammatory substance which when consumed treats the condition without altering the mind. It is many a time confused with marijuana, but CBD extracted from hemp has less than 0.3% THC, whereas Marijuana has an intoxicating effect primarily because of the presence of the psychoactive compound.

Due to its properties, CBD also has carved a niche for itself in the medical world. In the USA and UK, a CBD infused drug called Epidiolex has been made legal for epilepsy cases. People, who used to experience 2-3 seizures in a day due to the condition, do not have seizures for more than 6 months in a row. But, the question that arises is whether the cure is possible only with the help of CBD oil in the drug, or CBD oil working well with other chemicals present in the drug. Some research studies are also underway and gradually with results coming up, the preciseness of information will be known.

CBD or cannabidiol also is helpful for joint pains, injury pain recovery, and cancer. For Kirsten Bell, apart from having a healthy body, wellness of the mind also is important. When she was 18, she got her first brush with depression and anxiety. It was a drop of CBD oil that helped her battle away from the anxiety. CBD also has been found effective for long term depression, post-traumatic disorder, and insomnia. 

In her interview with a popular film magazine, she mentioned that she adds a compound called adaptogens which helps her body adapt to the rising stress levels and anxiety. There is limited evidence in the world of science about the capability of adaptogens and that is mainly the reason why they are not regulated by the FDA. 

These remedies have helped her to a great extent but she also has to keep her medicine cabinet stocked with anti-depressants if there is a serotonin imbalance. She is very open about her life and problems and had also mentioned in the interview that she and her husband Shepherd had also been to a couple of therapies. The need of the hour demanded the couple attend the therapy for their well-being. 

Kirsten Bell also believes in Exercising and building physical strength. Her routine exercise is incomplete without Pilates which she does three times a week at Studio Metamorphosis. Her work-out three times a well makes her feel rejuvenated and prepared for the onslaught of work.

Like Kirsten Bell, many celebrities have stress and anxiety in their life which they need to battle every day. Many have resorted to CBD oil and it has indeed helped them a lot. A little more research and CBD seems like a win-win deal for everyone.
