Luxembourg Becomes the First European country to Legalize Cannabis

Luxembourg has enough things on the plate to legalize the recreational value of Cannabis and to event convince other European countries serving the same purpose. It is normal to pick up little samples of weed in the coffee shops stay in Amsterdam or other Cannabis social clubs. 

Even in countries like Belgium, a user won’t get arrested for carrying a small amount of Cannabis. However, Luxembourg has managed to achieve more than that and has become the first country in Europe to make Cannabis totally legal. 

The health ministry of Luxembourg openly stated and unveiled a proposal for reframing the legislative process. They are targeting that in the next two years they will be able to present the improvisation in several laws and make amendments. 

Estimating that Luxembourg successfully achieves the goal, it will join the list of countries which has reversed the decade-long drug policies and laws where the substance is prohibited. The other compliances in the list are Canada, Uruguay and the United States. 

As time has changed the drug laws and policy which our ancestors used for which existed over the past few years will not work at present, said Etienne Schneider, a prominent advocate.
