The actress opened up about her battle with anxiety and admitted that taking CBD oil regularly helps in treating her nerves. Tyler, who lives primarily lives in London with her three children and her partner shared her personally adopted remedy while creating a beauty routine video for Vogue.com.
She talked about how she takes a CBD oil tincture every morning to manage her stress and anxiety levels in check. Tyler also mentioned that the CBD doesn’t get her high or anything so it is not a product that would get you stoned in anyway.
She admitted to the camera about her anxiety before delving in deep and confessing that most of it comes from her job and what she is required to do. She said that her job is a bit scary and it becomes difficult to not be nervous sometimes. It is just like public speaking or any other activity that falls out of your comfort zone, said Liv.
However, Liv has managed to deal with her anxiety levels and nervousness on a daily basis- she uses a dose of CBD oil from a brand known as the Lord Jones. The company describes itself as one of the finest creators of the world’s most supreme quality CBD products.
Liv held the bottle of the CBD oil close to the lens and said ‘I know everyone is talking about CBD oil and I have one here that’s from this company called Lord Jones, it’s really good’. She then used a pipette-style dispenser to put the CBD oil under her tongue carefully and said that it doesn’t make you feel stoned or anything.
CBD has gained immense popularity over the last few years, especially after the governments all around the world began tweaking their policies to incorporate CBD as a legal substance. Many people have turned to CBD based products and found it helpful in treating their ailments at a larger scale as compared to traditional prescription based drugs.
People use CBD for numerous reasons, right from treating stress and anxiety to improve their sleep patterns, CBD is believed to be a one-stop solution for many common diseases. It has even been linked to treating epilepsy in children. However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration allows only one CBD based drug named Epidiolex, which is used for treating two rare forms of epilepsy in children. The agency has invited public comments that will help form the basis for a regulatory framework for CBD products in the U.S.
CBD is an anti-inflammatory and non-psychoactive component which does not produce any mind altering chemicals that can get you stoned. Contrarily, another substance that is derived from cannabis plants known as THC or tetrahydro cannabidiol is a psychoactive compound that is responsible for triggering hallucinations and causing the “high” that people feel while smoking pot or weed.
Liv pointed out the same, saying that CBD might come from a cannabis genus plant but that doesn’t mean it causes any high or have similar effects as that of THC. Currently, the most widely popular means of taking CBD includes in an oil form, the one that Liv is taking. A bottle of CBD oil of 1,000mg Royal Oil from Lord Jones costs at about $100 per 30ml bottle.
According to Lord Jones, apart from taking the CBD oil orally as a tincture, it can also be used as a topical or taste enhancer in foods. The product consists of just 2 ingredients as claimed by the company – ‘broad spectrum CBD’ and grape seed oil – and it is not flavoured, with the brand noting that it retains the natural aroma of the cannabis plant.
The website description of the brand reads that they have created their Royal Oil to engage people who are looking for an ultimate supplement, flavourless, colourless and pure.
